Blades Grill - Rochester

Every other day I would give them 5. Today I was a little disappointed. The place is great. Food is great! Loved the fire outside as entertainment and to keep the side of the wall warm. However, the service was very “hurried”. It was not bad or wrong, just “hurried”. In the beginning, I though it is because they were too busy, which is great. In the end, when many tables were empty, they still rushed the service. It's like we're more of an interested party to customers.

Food was good, the patio had excellent music, very enjoyable experience. I had the Pitza salad which was very unique and delicious!

There are two locations ! The pittsford one does not have an alcohol license just a heads up. The big easy Benedict is amazing along with the lemon ricotta pancakes ! Also note no lunch menu on the weekend! And the culver location can get pretty busy as well.

Busslin' diner with a great environment. Food was different than your average greasy diner food that everyone loves. Had pancakes with lemon curd drizzle and berry compote. Yes! Definitely want to go back again and try all the other dishes that looked so good !

Blades was pretty good. The portions are good and the seating is nice. The drinks were well made and tasty. When we visited, the waitress said that there were some bees inside and we should sit inside. We took her advice and were happy that we did because the other more daring customers soon left outside to hide inside. They should try and take care of the bee problem but we appreciated the open and communicative staff. The place was good but not great. If it's nearby then go there but not a place that I would actively seek out.
