Andrew was an outstanding server—friendly and knowledgeable. All four meals were fantastic! Not a single complaint from our picky tweens—definitely a win for both adults and kids! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Talking Cedar:
The poutine was tasty and came with a generous serving of fries, but again, it was quite salty overall. I’m not a fan of mushrooms, yet the potatoes in the omelet were also on the salty side. The fried chicken salad was enjoyable, although it featured the usual cold shredded cheese and preserved olives typical of many salads.
The smoked chicken sandwich was good, and the onion rings were delicious—though still salt... View all feedback.
My favorite place! I love everyone who works there, and they have an incredible selection of food and beer. I highly recommend Talking Cedar!

The smoked chicken sandwich was good, and the onion rings were delicious—though still salty. One of my biggest complaints is that food was served on planks instead of plates, which felt a bit awkward. Overall, the experience was positive, but did I mention how salty everything was? It definitely stands out as a key aspect of the meal.

The service was slow and short, even before the rush. the server did not expand to the available beer, only said what was available on the menu without turning (what was wrong, I had to go into the bar and ask for the additional beer available). for noisy child-friendly there was a high chair for the whole restaurant and when it was free, it was not offered to others. the burgers came only one away boiled (which was obviously cold and dry) I found strange, plus my cheese was cold and congealed in a gummy mass when she could not even disturb with a heat lamp, fries were ok and the beer was approximate and safe pairing good with the non-exciting eating. if they are still in a year, I can give them another shot, but I was totally underwhelmed for a 70 dollar meal.
A friend takes myself and my boss to dinner at this place... I never been here before but have heard about it.... glad we did.Place is huge and very well kept up... clean and inviting...several different areas to dine in or sit for a drink... was interesting. We were met by very nice people and they seated us quickly... our waitress was super cool and got us rolling with some drinks and appitizers...cheese curds n beer...Those cheese curds rocked.. 2 orders gone in a moment in time...light batter on them makes the cheese just pop... we loved them.Just as we finish that our food shows up..2 of us got bacon wrapped meatloaf and boss gets bbq tri tip plate..All plates had good green beans and mash potatoes n gravy..the meatloaf was very very good..boss loved his plate but more importantly he just loves good mac n cheese and the bowl he side ordered he sat in silence and just loved. After the last bites have went down we were absolutely stuffed and happy...no issues with service or food.... was a good experience we all will be coming back again...I need more cheese curds!Remember to support your local business for they are the backbone of your community.
