the food was slappin. absolutely delicious. the building reminded me of my time in nola and the Essensdeff also did. the prices are before place and they do not skip the portion sizes. the drinks prices are somewhat higher than I want and hurrikan wasn't nola, but I didn't go to drink there. I went there for good food and a few French quarters atmosphere and this place was not disappointed. I often go back. read more.

"The dining area was small. They can serve 16 people so reservations are essentially mandatory. Street parking is required but we didn't have any issues finding a spot.I found the service here to be first rate. They were friendly and efficient. They brought out new plates between courses. My party chose the chef's tasting at a very reasonable 65 dollars per person. The chef came out to personally present each dish and explain some of his techniques and ingredients. This was a very nice touch."
