Thai Inn - Rochester Hills

I knew what I was getting myself into when I decided to go into this place. However I had to see it for myself. Place itself is ok, standard table setting with everything you need (nothing fancy) to chow down on some food. If you are looking for friendly service this may not be the place for you. The waitress or maybe the owner was rushing and not necessarily rude but a bit aggressive when taking my order. All and all the food is really where my low rating is coming from. I ordered Red Curry chicken or Gang Gai and i swear i can taste dish soap in it. Chicken felt cheap as if canned chicken was used. The curry itself lacked flavor. Rice looked and tasted old. I wouldn't visit again.

Very small and homie. They orders are very nice people. I have been coming here for years and it by far the best and most authentic Thai restaurant. I come all the way from Detroit just to get this Thai. My absolute favorite is pad Thai and honey crispy chicken. I cannot find another Thai restaurant that makes pad Thai sauce like this place. The hot and sour soup is also great

It was fine. My husband is Thai. We ordered, hoping for some home cooking. It’s not bad. But it’s not good. It’s decidedly bland. But the place is spotlessly clean and the family that owns it is so sweet.

I like a lot of vegetables with my food, I asked which has a lot of vegetables the lady said this one combination of vegetables. I got the one she told me about. Most of the vegetable was shredded cabbage, 4 pieces of a small chicken, and o1 to 2 of the other vegetables. It was not that great. The chef was Being very reasonable. I won't go there anymore. Chinese are economical (cheap)

I ordered our lunch as take out, so I had to pay for chili sauce. It was over $20.00. The chili sauce container was seriously small, so when I was leaving I asked for another. Even though I had just paid well over 20 dollars for lunch, they said they would charge me another dollar for another tiny container of chili sauce. The size container you can fit your thumb into. I am not saying to never try their food, we have had mostly good experiences here. But when you are paying over $20 for lunch, charging an extra $1.00 for a tiny bit of sauce is not right. Hence the two stars.
