This is exactly what you’d expect from these little guinguettes on the banks of the river Saone, a very friendly, relaxed, typically french place. If you’re looking for “haute gastronomy” look away, but stick to Fritures (traditional fried fishes) or Cuisses de Grenouilles (the infamous frog legs) for which these places have been renown for centuries and you won’t be disappointed.
