the first time in kyoto, but if I could give it ten stars, I would. our chef, matthew, was great. he was great to chat with, funny, and an all-encompassing big guy. he probably made the best sea scallops I've ever had, even though I lived on the east coast. the food was delicious and service was exceptional. we will certainly visit again. read more.

they want a Hibachi table. it's unpleasant. eating is excellent. my problems are that they'll hurry you. we hardly had our food when they brought us a container and the bill. we celebrated a birthday and had a cake they set, I'm the refrigerator for us, even if we asked that they didn't bring it to us, so we just took it and left it. read more.
