"The new boss is the best we have experienced in this area for years. Every meal is deliciously cooked. Seasoned and served. The 24 guests for our 60th anniversary loved every bite. The service of Sue is efficient, fun and so warm and friendly. The boss made the most beautiful and DELICIOUS cake each of us have experienced. We are so happy that it is available to make a special cake for events at locations or take home. The cake would also be a spectacular wedding cake. What can we see every person said we often want to come back to Blackwater. Our pickling hamburgers said the Hamburger was the best ever. The main rib amazes everything and everyone enjoyed every bite. The salmon eaters said it was perfectly prepared. Thanks to everyone at Blackwater Cafew for our anniversary to remember one night. "We drove here yesterday and really enjoyed our visit. We were never in this part of the lake, but it was a beautiful boat trip from the State Park. The dock looks completely new and it is very easy to get in and out with your boat. You can also get gas here. The restaurant was really sweet with indoor and outdoor seats. The prices are as good as they come to be on the lake. We ordered a pizza for the kids. I have the catfish tacos that were delicious. It was a pleasant surprise to see both a mango salsa and tomato salsa to add any taco. The Coleslaw made them creamy and tasty. My husband got the pulled pork BBQ sandwich he wasn't crazy because it was also dry with the Koleslaw. The pizza was pretty good. We will definitely be back because of the views, prices and friendly staff. Don't forget to get ice!"

"We came in during a Sunday lunch, Father's day, and the had a special of 2 beers for free which was a great perk for my husband! The food tasted great, the beer cheese and pretzel sticks we wonderful, and the pretzels warm and fresh. The burgers were great,and they even had a kids menu. The entrees don't come with fries, and neither does the kids menu, it comes with chips, so thecost point of some of the food seems a little high for what you're served. You also pay a good deal for a limited amount offries, so I was a little disappointed at that. That being said, again, the food tasted great. Our server was on top of things,and very sweet and personable. The wait time for food was a bit long, and most of the tables around us were waiting similarlylong for food. Id come if you have a longer amount of time to wait, and definitely order an appetizer."
