We had a belated Christmas lunch with our Aunts. The service was excellent. The food was great. The onion soup was not very hot, but the waitress did take it off the bill. We sat and talked and we did not feel rushed. Waitress did continue to check on us until we left. We appreciated the hand blown glass light fixtures which made for a unique experience. First time dining at burnt wood tavern. The place wasn’t busy but it felt that way. My bartender was nice but didn’t engage much and that’s fine. Bar seating tends to be my preference based on the interaction you get to have with the staff but it wasn’t the end of the world. Food was extremely salty.
