"My partner and I visited escoba last night and were amazed by not only the quality of the food, but also the service. we ordered salmon and meatballs for the main and dessert we had a cream broth. this is just one of the best meal we had. I cannot recommend this place enough! such a warm and welcoming atmosphere!"

"I had the hot chicken sandwich. Full spice. Great portion of protein. Very crunchy and flavorful. Fast prepared. Very friendly staff. -1 star: Way too greasy as you can see on those pictures. The bottom bread is literally soaked in chili oil. -1 star: 13 dollars for a pricey burger. I?m expecting a bit more than crunchy. Maybe adding a foil wrap like Popeyes. Coleslaw is not impressive. Generally, it?s pretty good but not the best chicken sandwich in Calgary like other reviewers said."

"Had a wonderful birthday dinner here on Sunday for my dad. Michael and the team at Flores and Pine went way above and beyond to make the night memorable and make us all feel special. From birthday cake for the birthday boy, learning a little history about the place, to tending to our every need and request, there was so much effort put into making our night truly special. This effort did not go unnoticed or appreciated. Also, the food was wonderful! I had the half chicken and the portion was very healthy and flavor was great. I highly recommend Flores and Pine."

"This was our first time here and we're really impressed! The restaurant has plenty of room and was very clean. The staff we're very friendly and informative. There are 3 levels of heat for the sauce. I had the 2nd and tried the hottest one and they had a lot of flavor not just heat. This restaurant is kinda like Nando's but the sauce is imported directly from South Africa not made in North America like Nando's. I've been to both restaurants and this is way better. Everything tasted very fresh and I will definitely be back."
