"This was the first time that my boyfriend and I had been to Up North 23 and it was a great experience! We ordered a pizza and we got it really fast which I thought was too quick to even make so by the end of our meal our waitress came up and said that we ended up getting the wrong pizza. It was so good that we didn't even realize it was wrong. Kip gave us a free dessert even tho we said it was ok and the other guy was going to give us a free meal but we said we had already been offered a free dessert. Everyone dining in was having a great time. Great food! Great people! We will definitely be going back soon!"

"Had an absolutely wonderful experience here near the end of August 2023. I have an in-training Psychiatric Service Dog and the staff were fully understanding of Service Dogs under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and that the dog was in training. The waiter was friendly and took very good care of us. The food was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I had the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich with fries and it was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. The only negative thing I encountered were a few fellow customers who were making rude comments about my in-training Service Dog being there and spouting negative things about people with disabilities. However, the next time I am in Roger's City, Michigan I will definitely come back to eat here.
