We were staying across the street and stopped for dinner here our first night. Francesco was so welcoming. We had a great meal bruschetta, linguini with seafood, sliced steak and frites. All of it was very good. So good in fact, we went back out second night. Had two pasta dishes-bucatini with guancale and onions. Linguini with artichokes, pecorino. All delish. We recommend highly. What Penguinz doesn't like about La Fontanella Sistina:
Noisy spot beside a junction on a tiny street. Cars beep regularly, loudly, and it's deafening as well as car fumes. Waiters are pushy betond acceptable, would not leave us alone despite being told we had allwe wanted. They were also pushy about a tip, I did not leave one. There are so many good iptions, don't stop here. View all feedback.
People, don't go to this place. The she-boss is very rude to her customers ànd her staff. The food was not fresh.
Location was near our hotel but the food wasn’t very nice. Paid the same price for a carbonara in a much nicer restaurant down by the Trevi Fountain.
