Zen Chi Restautant - Roma

We were three adults and one child. We took their eat as much as you want menu for 19.90 euros. At first there were only two of us who wanted that menu, and the third adult wanted a simple main course. The waiter then told us that we could not sit together. The adult with only a main course and the child had to move to another table. It was late and we had no other restaurant options nearby, so we all had to order the menu, so we could sit together. They took away the child 's plate, to insure that the child would not taste our food from the menu. And when we had started eating, it did not take long before they told us they were closing and we had to leave. We therefore asked to bring the rest of the food with us to the hotel, which we definitely could not. This restaurant does not even deserve one star!

I saw negative comments and review about the place here on Tripadvisor and I tried it for myself today. It was definitely not a bad experience at all. I came here on Monday at 1pm for lunch and there was not many people. They have two choices of lunch/dinner and from what I have seen most people choose the conveyor option. You pay 8,9€ for the food on conveyor belt (drink excluded) and you get to eat as much as you want. I dont think it's a bad choice since they have quite a variety of dishes. Apart from salmon,tuna,California rolls they also have spring rolls, dumplings, fried rice and noodles, sesame balls, seaweed salad. I think with such slow price then this is very very highly recommended place to come if you are nearby. I wouldn't say it's excellent but for a break from Italian pizzas and pasta, this is not a bad choice. I would definitely come here again when i want to eat some sushi because they have a variety of sushi and it's quite fresh. Even the dumplings are good also. The waiters were polite and they spoke Italian well (since many people complain that they don't even speak Italian). As for English im not sure if they do speak or not, but it's not that crowded for lunch anyway.

A friend and I ate here while staying down the street at an AirBnB. It was a welcome respite from all the carb heavy Italian food we 'd been eating. I am still confused by the ordering, but the restaurant has a sushi conveyor belt , which was pretty awesome, and a guy walking around with Brazilian style meats, plus one can order from the menu. The steamed dumplings were great and the sushi rolls fabulous. The veggie and shrimp noodle dish was disappointingly light on the veggie part, but that seems to be a chronic Italian thing. Give it a try it is pretty good!!

Buon ristorante con tutto si può mangiare formula, e nastro con sempre pieno corso . Devo dire che il personale è molto gentile e gentile.
