Alembic - Rome

What Gunnel Bengtsson likes about Alembic:
Very artsy quaint with nice polite service but they smoke just outside the open door and don't appear to wash their hands when they come back in to prepare and serve the food. Too smokey for us to return! But we loved the ambiance!!! (And, the spicey pepperoni pizza was good too. The cheese pizza had no spice. . The tiramisu was pretty good but very small. What Elisa Barone doesn't like about Alembic:
I was pretty disappointed, as €10 for a buffet where tap water is the drink seems unusually pricey for Trastevere.. Food was ok, not entirely fresh. Wifi did not work well for me unfortunately, but as it was not busy (1 other table occupied while I was there), the service was not rushed, and I felt I could take my time there. View all feedback.
