"We called in here while we were staying in Southampton, nice restaurant and very busy which is always a good sign, we looked at the menu and decided on the set meal but we had to laugh when the owner told us it was too much food for us both to chose something else, we did chuckle, what we had though was lovely and we would visit again"

"This place is excellent,! great service, great eating, amazing worth. even though the prices were very modest, the waitress was really good and made sure we were satisfied with the meal. they made an individual eating for my child. there is a city parking space 5 minutes away, and this part of southampton felt a bit rough. so they take the precautions they would take in every big city center, but it is worth it!"

"I love this place, the best pub we ever had. the personal is beautiful and they all remembered us after just one previous visit. the waitress remembered that my child has a nut allergy. I would definitely recommend you try. the frying on the left side is a small pork (not so small) and the other is the lamb roast delicious!"

"Unfortunately The quality of the steak this time was not up to your usual standards and was very tough with un-rendered fat, that we had to leave. The table we ended up with was not in a good location and was a bit too small for food and drinks to fit on easily. It felt like it was an after thought and crammed in. There is not very good signal in the area so tried to join the WiFi which was frankly pointless! The server was very nice and was doing her best, but was dealing with too many tables, which slowed the service, and as we only popped in for something to eat quickly this became frustrating. Overall it wasn’t a great visit this time and was far from your usual standards."
