A fantastic family run pub. Always a great selection of craft ales. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Occassional food service from visiting vans.
Absolutely wonderful choice of ales, ciders, cocktails, gins, etc. Dead man's fingers rum is exceptional. Great choice of music, will go back again soon. x
Lovely beer, relaxing ambience, good pub.
The most interesting beer in Romsey, or anywhere else really. Wish I could come here more

"Decided to eat there with the family on Friday evening. Travelled all the way from Fair Oak having checked the opening times (12.00pm to 9.30pm). The place was closed. All the chairs were on the tables. I wouldn’t have minded but there was no note explaining why and more importantly no note apologising. Wasted trip…thanks"

"What a special place! Ramsey has the true gift of hospitality. He chats, interacts, and welcomes his customers as if they were friends! Such a warm and genuine welcome! We came first time some years ago and returned this week to find the intimacy, ambiance, good food, and warm welcome unchanged! "I took my dad here for his birthday lunch and it was so a cosy and a nice pub felt welcoming and the food was amazing. It was also very well priced for three of us. Would recommend and will be going again."

"Can not wait to go back....the personal are very friendly and the finger crosses them not get a lot of rude Cantonese customers! Woman y is a joy, she reminds me of what good customer service earlier suggested, the house specialties and no fake smiles. of course they will not be busy if food is not according to standards, the 3 meats is very good, singapur fried rice is like at home....dimsum makes us wish we can try everything! the cheung fun was tender and tasteful with the frittier inside, pork and chive also very good. therefore we have to go back, as it seems, like other tabular entries all looked amazing."
