What Dan Of All Trades likes about J's Hideaway Family Diner:
Good menu selections. I am breakfast person so everything looks good. I had their homemade corned beef hash and it was good, not too salty, the serving size is actually a lot with the meal. Price is descent and the staff are friendly. The ambience for me feels like a veteran hangout spot, which is awesome, cool stuff on the wall also. Ordered Diced Ham and Scrambled Eggs, hash browns, toast. Let?s start with the Ham, wasn?t Diced it was boiled, gray chunks of flavorless meat. Diced implies a small, fairly uniform cuts. These Chunks were of various sizes and most needed to be recut to eat. The Eggs had chunks of raw onion mixed in causing my first bite to be spit into my napkin.
