"A place for locals, from the beaten tourist route. The GPS function was helpful to find it. We ordered the chefs special steak for two people who proved to be more than enough for three non-Argentine men. Although beef was served essentially three meals a day for a week, the steak was a standout. We ordered empanadas that were also very good, but must make a second trip for the pasta that looked homemade and excellent. The place fills, so book or early there. There is a cross-section of locals of all ages, groups and couples eating alone. When the electric panel fails, about every 45 minutes, no one skips a beat and candles out what seems very atmospheric. The service is very secret and attentive... we had an avuncular fellow who did not speak English, but we could communicate, and he was patient."

"Excellent meat of all kinds service was excellent. We ordered a meat plate for 4 people could not eat it all. Pork Matambre beef costela, all delicious. This must be one of the top restaurants in Rosario. We hope to come back very soon. Very friendly owners offered us champagne."
