"We arrived and Donna introduced herself and welcomed us..I had the beef and my husband had the lamb cutlets and the niece had chicken curry all delicious . Waffles and Nutella and ice cream for afters. Compliments to the chef. Got chatting with a member of staff called Tommy real nice man and full of the chat and craic... Value for money excellent. Highly recommend the white house. The staff are a real tonic. Love this place"

"Just had our baby's Christening at The Bridgewater. I couldn't recommend it highly enough and had a really lovely afternoon. John and all the staff looked after us so well on the day, from personalised menus, setting up the area so well for us, and Fantastic food service. Everyone commented on how professional friendly John and his team were. Thank You all so much."

"Very disappointed curry chips are disgusting tasteless and sauce is horrible. Kebabs are horrible as Well I asked was there onion in kebab the answer I got was i don't I no i think so. There was no sauce in it let alone onion just...lettuce an coleslaw thrown together. Was there mins before my order was taken minutes in total till I got my food. The old couple behind the counter didn't seem to be coping to well dispite it been quite. Won't be going here again."

"I went in here for lunch as I live fairly locally. The decor is the first thing that hit me when I arrived, its seems like a time warp from the 1960s, with very old tables laid out in canteen style. I initially said hello to my server a older gentleman, who never responded. I ordered the lamb, when I was waiting for my order I had to ask three times before my drink finally arrived. The dinner when it arrived was rank average at best. I was served rock hard meat which was drowned in an awful gravy. The vegetables were tasteless and with over cooked carrots,and dry potatoes. The whole meal tasted like it was re heated in a microwave, which I am pretty sure it was, and was totally tasteless. I was never asked how my meal was, which would have been nice. Although Urlingford is not by any means the food capital of the region,there are better options nearby. Save your money and go elsewhere."
