"Just had our baby's Christening at The Bridgewater. I couldn't recommend it highly enough and had a really lovely afternoon. "Called into Spinners on Evening of 27th December. We were made to feel very welcome. Had a table in baq dining area. Lovely selection on dinner menu. No Jack Daniel's but did not spoil the evening. We ordered the Duck and Steak. Both dishes were cooked perfect. Good portions. Lovely side dishes of cauliflower and Cheese. Lovely apricot stuffing with the duck. For dessert we orded the chocolate fondant it was gorgeous and baked Alaska. Both went down v well. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal. Praise to the two ladies who were working quietly and efficiently. . All in all a lovely evening to finish our Christmas holiday in Birr. Will return in Summer when back on holidays."
