"I grew up in Winston, and before Muchas Gracias leased that building, it was a Taco Time, then a nasty burger joint called Liberty Dollar. Muchas Gracias quickly became my first choice for eating out, and whenever I return to Winston to visit family, that is the first stop I make. I'm now 23, the restaurant opened when I was in jr high, and when I ate there last summer, it was every bit as good as I rembered. The workers even recognized me, and remembered my favorite dish. Looking at the other reviews, it would seem only Douglas County locals can appreciate this place, the cooks, and the food they prepare. If you want steak and lobster, then stay in Las Vegas."

"My family are great fans of Indian food. On a whim we decided to stop here when we went through Roseburg. Shanti is not disappointed. The taste profiles and balances were very satisfied. Prices were what was expected from high-quality Indian food. The place is casual, but the food was serious. That means I wouldn't recommend this place for an inexperienced palate. I couldn't have eaten as a saag distributor. It was so good."
