Excellent fish and chips! There is actually dish inside the batter compared to other places. The batter is great. Not too greasy. Not thick at all and it tasted great. I also tried a side order of the prawns. You get a tartar sauce, one malt vinegar, and one cocktail sauce. Expect a 10-15 minute wait if they are not busy. View all feedback.
Best fish and chips I've ever had! Really! I had lots of fish and chips on my day, some in pubs, some in fish and chips eating places, but that was the best I ever had. Most of the reasonable and realistic reviews I've read are a real 5-star fish and chip connection. Yeah, it's a joint, nothing real imagination. It is in a converted old fast food building. Bathroom back.... didn't leave, I was too scared! But... hey, didn't come here to use the toilet room, but to have really delicious fish and chips and it didn't disappoint at all! I went to the third line at 12:30. At the checkout was a nice Korean lady who took my order. My Sis and I ordered both 2 pieces of fish and chips for $7.95 each. I also have 20 ounces of refillable drink. Mtn Dew, if you need to know. What my eye was still caught was the fried Calamari legs... like in tentacles.... no test... oh never mind! That was $6.95. Only pay (they take credit cards.... no amex, and then the food is delivered to your table. The restaurant seemed clean and had some stalls on the windows. Other things on the menu (all deep fried! were Calamari, oysters, scallops and shrimps. All prices seemed appropriate and they also have family orders. I don't think there is a website, but trust me, all prices are reasonable and the fish is great. Let's go to dinner! Our fish are all hot and crispy. The fish came 2 pieces and fries. The pieces were thinner than most fish and chips I had, but much bigger in size. Beautiful large fillets all crispy and not fat. Malt vinegar is at the table like salt and more napkins! Together with the fish they bring you catsup, tarter sauce and small bowls to pour them in. The food didn't take long to get out. My first bite of fish, I was impressed how beautiful it was. No ammonia odour, like some places that do not serve the freshest fish. Friends were good too. The other customers here may not be the highest end of the income scale, but this has "not distracted from the great food ever. I'm down and dirty. Definitely give this place a try if you like fish and chips. Yes, they use peanut oil to get the best frit (best high temp oil but expensive, so if you are allergic to peanuts .... sorry you are overjoyed! Clean roast and delicious food and low prices, what do you want more?
Excellent fish. Had better pommes, but still good. They opened in 2000.
The remaining fish chips in Roseville are called Anchor’s Fish Chips and seems to be independent in possession and family operation. It is located on Harding Blvd at Estates Dr. next to McDonalds and opposite Wise Buys in what must have been an old Taco Bell based on the building design.
Wow! This is such a find! Very affordable and good portions even for the children's menu. The Calamari strips should die! Her tartar sauce got this oomphe combined with her malt vinegar and... just tap She's doing my mouthwater! Great customer service and clean toilet.
