We finally went again after a few years of busy life. We finally moved and wanted to celebrate with sushi. I remembered this place was always delicious and were not disappointed today. My son ordered two rolls and I got two. I don't remember all the rolls but we got the spicy jack, 49er and two others. And after that we got a green tea tiramisu. Very good sushi. What Lupine doesn't like about Mikuni Restaurant And Sushi Bar:
We went there on Saturday for lunch, and ordered the SPECIAL BENTO #2 (Chicken teriyaki California roll. Includes steamed rice salad). It was 20$ and the main dish was RICE. All rice and little chicken and sushi. The salad is a disgrace. How do you even call that a salad? The amount of chicken they show in the picture has nothing to do with reality. Very disappointed. We had a negative experience that I want to share. The food at mikunis is amazing, however, tonight I ordered one of their recommended rolls which are the most expensive. I wouldn't recommend myself. But I ordered with all hamachi it came out with the original sashimi. I told the server but it was like no body cared. I waited at least 15 minutes for the re make. I spoke to a manger at the Roseville store, he never followed up. The roll finally came. It was good but not a good experience ESPECIALLY for how much food cost there. Disappointing.
Love Mikunis always plenty of options and wonderful service.
Came in without a reservation and they were able to seat us immediately. Staff was friendly and quick. The food is the same standard that you'd expect so no complaints. Overall it was a good experience.
The worst experience I've ever had at this restaurant. Food 10 minutes at a time Last meal was 50 minutes from the first meal delivered kids on great and no food Never will go back after 300 meal manger offered free deserts to make up for the ridiculous service, we still haven't even got our lost entrée. We canceled it and left this place has gone downhill. I will never return.b
Best sushi in Sacramento. Been going there for 30 years and keeps getting better.
