The food was very fresh this time. I got there at 3:30pm which is what I would suggest because that's when the dinner menu starts. The food was piping hot, tender and satisfying. The server came often to clear our dirty dishes which is what I like. This place is perfect if you like to just stuff your face and do not care about food quality. Staff was courteous and friendly, but the food quality gave it a soup kitchen feel. Compared to the rest of the customers there, felt cheap just being there. Definitely will not be going back again. Only other positive thing other than the staff is the cheesecake was pretty good. "We've been this Cap Grille restaurant on many occasions, but this occasion was extraordinary. The energy level was high; the food was remarkable; our waiter, Jeffrey, was wonderfully attentive. "Enjoyed the food but underwhelmed considering the hype of the restaurant. We were seated at at the bar overlooking the kitchen which was interesting viewing, but we were served from behind which was awkward and there wasn't much room for all the small plates. The corn bread was delicious! We also had the fresh catch (red snapper that day) which was pretty good and the butternut squash ravioli. The lamb osso bucco (giouvetti) had a weird cut of meat. Overall it was good but not amazing."
