The quality of this restaurant has significantly declined. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice dish, which used to be generously topped with tuna, now has a minimal amount. I always go for the tuna steak at Kotobuki. The portion is generous and it's very flavorful, with very fresh ingredients.
The quality of this restaurant has significantly declined. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice dish, which used to be generously topped with tuna, now has a minimal amount. Despite the prices staying the same, or even increasing, the overall quality has suffered. It is disappointing to see such a decline.
This restaurant used to be renowned for its high quality dishes. However, there has been a significant decline in the past year. Orders for pickup and delivery are consistently late, and the dining-in experience is chaotic in terms of service. Despite these issues, the food used to make up for it in the past. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Customers now pay exorbitant prices for subpar quality. The fish in my last three orders (two pickup and one delivery) was discolored and had a slight smell, which is unacceptable given the prices charged. Delivery orders are also a challenge, with drivers often waiting well beyond the estimated time. This restaurant seems to be coasting on its former reputation and doing little to uphold its quality standards, instead opting to raise prices. It is a major disappointment.
The rolls and sushi was good however the 1 piece Salmon sushi was spoiled and inedible. The UFO Crazy Roll was filling but poorly put together. They dumped a thick layer of chopped salmon that made the dish look unappetizing but fortunately it tasted good. The rolls could have been packed more tightly to avoid having them fall apart when you picked them up. I placed my order at 630pm and didnt receive them 740pm which is an unreasonable wait time, but I was not in a rush. I called the store about spoiled Salmon and Erin offered me credit for next time. I was hoping to receive a refund on my cc but she claimed she couldnt do it b/c it was placed on DD. I will call in next time when I plan to place my order on DD to ensure they make it right and more importantly provide fresh fish.
Sushi was awesome. Only con is that the Edamame was cold when the food arrived. Will still order again because the sushi was delicious.
