The apricot brand was the best I had tasted and wish I had bought a bottle to go home. The staff were very helpful in assisting in ordering and the place had a domestic feeling about them being welcome. It was very busy and that even a great sign for a restaurant in a small town is. It was a nice way to spend the last night in Austria very unforgettable.
Local stylish Austrian restaurant - we sat in the unique cellar of the restaurant, which also serves as a wine store. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious, and so was the very welcoming service. Very good value for money.
Many places in the area are closed Monday and Tuesday, so we were happy to find this happy place. We had dinner on the terrace and were happy to eat and drink outside. Reservations in these days could be okay if you want a... outdoor table. The food was good... not great, but pleasant. You can't go wrong with a snitch in Austria...... Even my vegetarian wife found something delicious.... Good wine from the glass...
Good service, nice wine and tasty food. You can sit in the garden and enjoy fresh air while tasting good wine. The food is very nice and fresh. Try cold meat plate with Gruner Veltliner. Mohntarte is also very nice - poppy seeds pastry and refreshing cream cheese&fruit top with cream...
Stopped in for dinner tonight. Good and quick service, in a fairly nice courtyard off of one of the smaller streets in Weissenkirchen. Both of our our dinners (battered chicken and Saumise) were pedestrian at best. Portions were large - which needs to be taken however one wants to take that. Their wines are fine, though we have had significantly more interesting wines over the last couple of days. For our next visit we will explore elsewhere.
