We were in the Lipp for three days and felt very comfortable. Beautiful old house, renovated with very much attention to detail. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and the food in the restaurant can only be recommended. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were happy and happy to come back. "Since we were staying in Schwangau, we looked for restaurants and found this one. Turns out the food was wonderful, and we loved the outdoor dining area. Had a pork shank that was probably the best I’ve ever had and the price was more than...reasonable. We liked it so much we went back there 2 nights later. Although it was pouring rain, they had part of the outside seating under covers, so we sat outside again. The food was still outstanding."

"I picked this restaurant based on TripAdvisor and it didn't disappoint. The staff and owners are amazing people! We had an experience like none other on this trip. We had amazing food from the menu and had the opportunity to taste some food from Calabria...(a region of italy) which wasn't on the menu, it was a private stash from the owner. We also had a wine from Calabria that was to die for, who knew. We would go back tomorrow, but they closed. If you want great food, great experience....this is a MUST!!! Thank you to everyone that works there. You made this a memory we will not forget."
