Michels sits in the heart of the busy Newton Shopping Centre. It is a popular eating place with many tables and chairs, and with pedestrian traffic on all sides. Hence good for a busy morning coffee rather than an intimate rendez-vous! There is a fine range of cakes, pies and pasties, as well as drinks. We have enjoyed good coffee here a few times, but......decided to take home some meat pies recently for later. (beef). Absolutely awful product. The meat was full of gristle, and virtually inedible, with very ordinary pastry. Obviously products differ at the various franchises, but we will not return. View all feedback.
