"My wife and I visited this place for a late lunch and we had a great meal (burgers were really good! and a few glasses of wine for the Missus. Service was excellent. Our server, Ariana and the manager, Amanda, have taken both time to chat with us and feel welcome and at home. We visit Roswell for the first time and this friendly atmosphere makes us want to come again!"

"My wife and I shared a rack of the amazing baby back ribs and had several sides to go with them. The ribs were very tender, virtually falling off the bones, and the sauce they have is just right with a hint of tang. The sides were all excellent. Ihighly, highly recommend the corn on the cob and the onion rings. Save room for dessert! They have most excellent pies,including pecan and apple. The cornbread muffins are fantastic. southern style. The place is run by the two owners. They arevery pleasant and accommodating. I understand these folks are from Texas, and they know their barbecue! The portions are BIG.They really spoil you here. We had to take some home, and the stuff was all outstanding the next day, too! BEST barbecue in townby a long shot. I hope they stay here forever, because this is just what we need."

"Eat here for the first time. Stake and Shrip was amazing. The steam Broccoli and the bread were so good. If you like me and have never eaten here, try it. About $30 per person, but it's worth it. Great customer service too."

"I have applied twice for a job here and the first time the GM or manager didn't even give me an interview like I didn't even matter .The second time I got an interview and was told they were only hiring night crew or closing shift. Ok fine ,but are you kidding me .I am only 5'4 and only 101 pounds ,like I want to be walking around in this town at 12 or 1 o'clock in the morning. The job doesn't pay enough for me to put my safety at risk just for if I am lucky a lousy 5 hundred dollar pay check every two weeks."
