Our room was perfect. The location can't be beat! We were treated kindly by everyone that we encountered at the hotel and cafe. Parking was easy and convenient.

Nice food but waiters man not polite. We asked to charge our phones while we ate breakfast 14 Euro for that they charged us 2 Euro extra without telling us. Sad...

"This is a very nice hotel, restaurant and beer garden just a block outside the Rodertor gate to the Old City. My wife and both tried different types of their potato pizzas. Both were good, but as large as a regular pizza, so we should have shared. Could not eat all of it. Nice beer garden outside."

"We went here on the strong recommendation of a local. When we went in the older male/husband owner said no but we didn 't quite understand. We waited and in a few minutes the older/Wife owner sat us. We are glad we didn 't understand and waited....We had soup, 2 schnitzel, 2 beers, 1 wine for 28 euros. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The older wife softened to us during the evening but retained her stoic, German front. I read the other reviews when we got back to the hotel and agree with them that this is a locals place and despite the tourism of Rothenburg, the older couple who run the place can be hot or cold on tourists. But the quality and value make it worthwhile the run this gantlet ."

"We visited Rothenburg and found this small caffe not far from our hotel. after the first visit we were thrilled and came many times past when we went through the city. the owners were a young couple and they were always friendly and helpful. the decor was a bit industrial and seemed to appeal to the younger public, but that didn't disturb us at all. the coffee was very tasty and the apfelstrudel was as good as any German oma could have done. they come by and try this place... they will not regret their decision."
