"From the hectic of the city, this beer garden is located at the foot of the city directly at the Tauber. The children play in the (maximum kneecaps, you return the bank or the chairs with table and tree. It is self-destruction, as the food is freshly prepared, you are called with first names when it is finished. A real resort, you can relax and observe. Parking is not easy. We always like to come here."

"There are four vegetarian or vegan dishes that can be vegetarian at least partly veganized. I had vegan bratwurst with rosmarinkartoffeln, salat, pesto and zwiebelchutney. it was incredibly delicious and also the best I ever got anywhere. the omnivore was enthusiastic about her many potato with goat cheese and grilled vegetables. There were self-made lime/grasss, which was also very tasty, and regional beer. the decor of the traditional pub in historical house has been supplemented with interesting furniture and details. the young operators were all super friendly, helpful and on a zack. the self-representation on their own homepage is exactly hairy, incl. the humor. we felt very comfortable in this cozy local and would like to have stayed longer, but unfortunately had to get the train. updated from previous review on 2021-07-31"

"This was the best meal I’ve had in ages. We heard the place would be busy so arrived minutes before opening and they gave us a table. I ordered the pork shoulder and it was just divine. Literally fell off the bone. Fantastic stuff....We shared an apple strudel for desert to cap off a tremendous meal in a gorgeous setting. A must if you are in Rothenburg"

"Stayed 2 nights in this 650 year old inn. Wooden beams, spacious room, fairy tale charm. Breakfasts were ample and enjoyed in one of two small dining rooms. Service was excellent. Had one delicious dinner (it is served only on certain nights). Within walking distance...of interesting museum and also the town's numerous shops and restaurants."
