We popped out for a meal at the last minute and had the most wonderful food with lovely staff ,and a warm welcome when we arrived there was spontaneous music as well from the lifeboat choir what a pleasant pub . I fave been for a drink after a cricket match and was impressed by theattitude and welcome the food was spot on and the beer beautifully kept . "We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious, lovely sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes. The cakes were proper sliced cakes and not the silly little taster cakes you can sometimes get. A lovely warm welcome from all the staff and we were given a box to take home what we couldn't eat. The best high tea we have ever had. We will definitely be going back again."

"A wonderful cafe, lovely friendly staff, very clean and tidy. The menu is great, especially as it caters for Gluten Free, a rare find to be offered so many choices, even home made lemon drizzle cake, which was scrumptious! I would recommend!"
