We was down from York as viking re enactors and this pub was where we drank after a hard days battle. It was so homely and welcoming that we didnt even bother with the other pubs around. One particular lady behind the bar showed us amazing hospitality and does this pub very proud and know that because of her the vikings will be back, but with more vikings. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ye Old Kings Head:
We was instantly greeted with “ don’t do food “ we never even asked for food . We had a drink then had to wait ages for another drink even though the pub was almost empty . The barmaid day almost next to us on another table vaping constantly and using bad language whilst on her phone most of the time , which prompted us to leave quickly . Beautiful pub with a good vibe and very confident staff ready to help if needed, highly recommended!
