Bamfords Baps from Rotherham Menu

What J likes about Bamfords Baps:
Been visiting now and again with a relative for years. Never had a bad meal and we go out of our way to visit because it is worth it. No complaints about food today either, was perfect as always, food was hot, I didn't have to wait too long and they double checked how I wanted everything rather than assume how I liked it. If I could leave no stars I would. The staff were so rude and ignored me completely for the 15 minutes I stood waiting to be served. After they took 2 telephone orders during this time I asked when I would be served and was abruptly told when I 'm ready no need at all for that attitude ! "Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."
