"Visited this week with my son for the first time. which counts for a really wonderful jewel of a place on all. we have loved it absolutely and will be back again and again. Many thanks for making our afternoon; every crumb of their lovingly prepared meals was absolutely delicious."

"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."

"Seriously.... Don't be put off by the outside,one of the best family meals we have all had. None of us had any complaints and every one of us thoughroughly enjoyed our dinners and deserts. Catch of the day was lovely and the steaks was one of if not the best. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"Some of the nicest falafel I've ever had. Clearly can see large coriander seeds and chopped up herbs in it. I walked in so can't speak for their delivery, but definitely try the falafel. Delicious."
