I always enjoyed visiting The Yard while I lived in Wickersley and I still make the trip across Rotherham usually whenever I want to enjoy the relaxing vibe and treat myself to one of their terrific breakfasts. Been here a few times now since moving to the area and it’s always really lovely. We’ve had a few things for lunch, the coffees are always really nice the cakes...

"Took my mum and aunt who are both in their 80s for afternoon tea. We had choice of two sandwich fillings from a choice of 8. Then either fruit or plain scone followed by big wedge of cake. Again from a choice of several. All food is prepared to order and all home made. Owner very pleasant and service excellent. We sat in the back room which had lively background music which my family sung along too. It was quite full so made for a lively atmosphere. Our second visit and we will return"
