"Nice surroundings, the food, on the whole was fairly good if a little pretentious. I really enjoyed my starter, which alas was the high point of the meal. My main, a beef dish was cooked very well, it was very tasty too, but for some reason there was nowhere near enough gravy with it, barely a drizzle, so towards the end the food became very dry, making the dish very hard to finish. Unfortunately my dessert dish had not been rinsed properly, it had that unpleasant dishwasher odour to it, this obviously totally ruined the dessert for me. These were small attentions to detail, but they could have easily been rectified, with just a little more thought and care taken. Then this meal could have easily been a very different and enjoyable experience."

"OMG!!! Simply the BEST Sunday roast in Northampton. I'm a veggie and the Roast did not disappoint, it was soooo taste, and there was a mountain of food! Great service too, our person took the time to understand our dietary requirements.
