What a gem of a place Koekela is!! A surreal experience of having some of the most delicious cakes ever. Coming to the café itself, it is tiny but very welcoming. The service is very good! I had a little vegan apple crumb, which was okay, but not great. it was also the only vegan option that was not frozen when I was there. we have gone there 40 minutes before closing time, so maybe if they go in the morning, will they have more vegan options? read more.
