"We drove to the museum to Chatillon-sur-Seine and decided to stop at lunch in bure les templiers (restaurqnt had good reviews). it was an excellent lunch. there is only the menu of the day, but it was all good. we go back to this restaurant."

"La carte est variée et les assiettes copieuses et cest très bon côté légumes pour la carte il serait facile d'inventer Par contre la serveuse qui regarde l'horloge car moins dix de midi cest vraiment désagréable le sourire est resté au vestiaire et les enfants pas souvent qu'elle en voit !"

"When we arrived at the benches at the tressle tables in the bar of this traditional country auberge were occupied by about workmen tucking into the menu du jour. That is a pretty good recommendation in itself. It is good value at for courses in the bar or euros in the restaurant behind which is decorated with the trophies of the local hunt. The starter was a ham salad with a tasty macédoine de legumes. The main course was a huge portion of boeuf bourguignon with chanterelles served with haricots jaunes et lardons, which were a bit overcooked to my taste. The desserts were excellent. The cooking was simple but tasty and my main criticism was the size of the portions even I was beaten by the boeuf bourguignon and it seemed criminal to send back to the kitchen a pile of such tender beef. Service was friendly and a little faster than we would have chosen. There is an indoor terrace in a courtyard behind the restaurant."
