I have lived in Italy for 40 years now and this was one of the worst meals I have ever had. 1. Starter of quail's egg with truffle and spinach. The egg was uncooked, the truffle tasteless and the spinach too salty. 2. Pasta with porcini mushrooms. Pasta virtually uncooked, the whole dish tasteless. 3. Guinea fowl. Meat smelled rancid. "Delicious authentic regional food. Antipasti salumi was fresh and delicately sliced. Baccala was fresh and creamy. Lard served on toast was perfectly umami but still light. Homemade Pappardelle with porcini and pappardelle with wild boar was savoury and fresh. Highly recommend. Will return if I pass through the area again."
