"Historic home converted into a bed and breakfast. They have a bar and restaurant to eat at during the evening as well which I found very tasty and quaint. I am knocking two full stars right off the top mainly because of the lack of cleanliness in the room that they put me in. The windows are so filthy they are full of spider webs and dirt from probably 30 years ago. Baseboard heaters are quite literally falling apart in front of your very eyes and there are so many scars and black marks all over the walls that it makes you look like they gave a child a crayon and let him go crazy inside. With that said, it is a nice little hotel if you are looking for something that is affordable and quiet. I do like the area and it is certainly not a chain which is a big benefit I think! They just need to spend a few bucks to spruce up the rooms and many of the doorways and exterior parts of the house. Paint and some major cleaning would go a long way. Rooms: Very old and I can only speak to one room but it was in dire need of cleaning. Dirty windows and the baseboard heaters were quite literally falling apart in front of your eyes. Needs a new coat of paint like no body's business! Walkability: The only thing you're walking to here is your car. Food drinks: They do have on site dining at a restaurant, but it is not open late. Rooms: 2 Service: 3 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Great value"

"Cute little restaurant in Woodstock. We had a reservation and we arrived a few minutes early and they seated us immediately. The waitress had a lot of tables but she did a great job managing her tables. Once order was placed food came out in a timely manner. We ordered the coconut shrimp, very good- the beef empanadas just ok they needed to be crispier, and the vegetable paella that neither my husband or I liked. It was not flavored well. I would go back again and try different dishes the beef steak dish looked delish."

"When they tell them that they are vegan when they have the reservation, the cook will design a delicious meal for them. we had amazing meals here cook used local products, has tofu, and offered vegan dessert at opportunity. it is the best restaurant in the obertal. fine dining atmosphere."

"Food was great. The chocolate croissants were absolutely delicious. Better than we've had in Paris. The whole family enjoyed their dishes, but I was especially impressed with the bagel with cream cheese and lox. As good as any you'd get in New York City."
