"We are SO glad we found this place! Staying in Rüdesheim, we took a 3 minute train down to Assmannshausen for dinner. This place can do every pizza gluten free, and my coeliac husband said it was the BEST gluten free pizza he had ever had. It looked so crispy authentic! My vegan option was a delicious oil based spaghetti with chili, garlic, tomatoes and basil. Absolutely delicious. Our entire meal pizza, pasta, 2 drinks and a bottle of water was under €30. The owner had the biggest smile I’d ever seen and our waitress was lovely. Such a happy, ambient place to have dinner. Highly recommend."

"We stayed with 4 people in the Yellow House, which is beautifully located in the old town of Eltville. The house is an old building from the 17th century. Century, beautifully renovated and offers a nice backdrop. Largest trump is surely the covered terrace overlooking the vineyards on the Rhine. Here you can also sit comfortably outside if the weather doesn't play like that. The wine is good (recommendation: the semi-dry Riesling selection Yellow house but this is also expected in the Rheingau. The food (rieslingsüppchen, grillsteak or pigs Lende and salmon were qualitatively absolutely fine, but without special subtleties in performance and taste. The price performance ratio is fine, but I would like to consider the food as an average. It was annoying, however, that in the late afternoon we had reserved the table for the evening, so to speak, under the butt. On our question whether we will be thrown out, the service explained that would be so .I don't just think to ask if you still stay or if the table is available from the time in question, would surely be more friendly in the classical sense. Conclusion: A nice location to sit outside with beautiful views and one or more glasses of wine. In order to eat, we would no longer visit the Yellow House."

"This has to be one of the best meals we have had in Germany. The service we had was warm and friendly and the food was delicious. My hubbie had tender steak in a peppercorn sauce and I had a hamburger that was huge. For...desserts he had a creme brûlée and I had an apple strudel. A nice bottle of wine and a coupe of drinks and a bottle of water later and all of this cost us €80. Yes we would definitely recommend this and yes we would definitely go back!"

"Wir waren als Gruppe von befreundeten Paaren in diesem Lokal. Uns hat der abend sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war bodenständig rustikal, hat aber allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Man hat gemerkt, daß es frisch zubereitet war und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr gut. Sehr empfehlenswert."
