We had a fantastic experience once again at The Royal Oak. Thank you to the team for a wonderful time!
Met an old work colleague for lunch. Cannot fault anything.
I used to visit this restaurant a few years ago and I believe the management and chefs have changed since then, as the menu is not as impressive as it used to be. Despite this, it is still a charming place to dine, but I wasn't as impressed with the food this time. Unfortunately, they no longer offer a roast dinner on Sundays unless it is for two people, which was disappointing. I suggest they offer more traditional dishes alongside the fancy options (does anyone really eat rabbit?), as well. On a positive note, the treacle tart was delicious!
Wonderful setting , great food and lovely staff very attentive thank you
The restaurant offers a great selection of dishes ranging from simple yet delicious pizza to more upscale a la carte menu items. The food and service are both fantastic.
