This is a lovely spot for lunch, looking out onto Rutland Water. Spectacular views. Sit in the Drawing Room for a drink before lunch, and again for coffee at the end of the meal. Food was exceptionally good but service was flawed. We arrived and were warmly greeted and with acknowledgment of my birthday it was a nice touch to have a personalised menu with mention of my birthday.
