Nice to sit outside and eat a great lunch which included a beer and burger for £10 (chips extra but worth it). Credit to the lady who was rushed off her feet as other member of staff had called in sick but we served quickly for both drinks and food. read more.

The bar maid was very friendly and helpful but the cook obviously had had enough on the day we visited. The chips were nice (although I wanted mash with my pie), the peas were edible but my pie was burnt! As in the pastry was black and flaky I don 't know why it was even presented to me as a meal.
