"We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious, lovely sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes. The cakes were proper sliced cakes and not the silly little taster cakes you can sometimes get. A lovely warm welcome from all the staff and we were given a box to take home what we couldn't eat. The best high tea we have ever had. We will definitely be going back again."

"I 'm going to have to 1 star tonight 's experience. Almost 2 hours after ordering our mains we gave up and walked out. This would have been OK if we had warning/apology/complementary drinks or chips. Our server was really quite rude and accused me of borderline bullying when I made a joke that we had forgotten what we had ordered earlier. If you have a problem getting the food ready, own it. An apology, a drink, information of what 's going on.. ANYTHING is better than getting annoyed at your customers politely asking what 's going on"
