another very nice meal with friends in the oak. we expected a Sunday roast after the Sunday menu, but the only available bread cake was a Christmas roast with all that trim! had enough Christmas dinner thanks so that was disappointing. Lovely place though some staff need a little bit of customer service training. Overall ok but nothing special and first impressions count. 40 minutes between first and last starters to be put on a table isn't the best, lady who served us blamed us on changes (1 less person attended and pub was advised about 2 hours in advance so don't really get that).
