in old grain store stopped to take a break from the cold and had a delicious hot chocolate and a slice of gluten-free chocolate and beet cake. I can highly recommend the cake, and I must say that the personal was so warm and friendly, so we can not wait to come back View all feedback.
What Jane Poulter doesn't like about The Old Grain Store:
Lovely interior and fast and efficient service but cappuccino just a weak milky v hot coffee, fish finger sandwich was dry and tastless. Really expensive, £45 for 3 for lunch. Just not worth the money. Disappointing as lovely place. View all feedback.
During our holiday, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant and we were very pleased with our choice. The customer service was exceptional, one of the best I have experienced despite dining out frequently. The cafe we dined in was clean and inviting, with the option to eat outdoors as well. The food we were served was outstanding and arrived promptly even though the restaurant was busy. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, and the dishes we ordered looked and tasted amazing. The portions were generous, the food was exceptional, and the presentation was top-notch, all at an affordable price. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, whether they are visiting or living there. Make sure to go on an empty stomach! A big thank you to the staff, both front of house and in the kitchen, for their excellent service.
A group of us turned up for lunch. Sat outside in the sun as it was a beautiful day! Delicious food enjoyed by all.
Superb cafe at the bottom of mermaid street with lovely outdoor seating area in the sun. I had the ploughman’s platter which was huge and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place, very clean, tidy and nice staff.
Incredible food, great decor and service. Really well priced for what you get. 10/5 will come again
I didn't actually go in here so can't really comment but it looked ok.
