Wow! What an amazing meal. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids and everything was perfect. We were so impressed with our waitress who was serving the whole pub solo and didn’t miss a single thing! The same lady was also manning the bar. The food was brilliant. I had the lamb shank and it was superb. The gravy was the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend. read more.

"We came as a family last Sunday and couldn’t believe how cute the little building was on the outside and transported you back in time when you stepped into the tea parlour. Our host was Stacey who was really friendly, funny and attentive. We decided to go get a selection of the classic afternoon tea and savoury afternoon tea- both were so tasty and made to order. The bread for the sandwiches was so soft, the fillings especially the egg mayonnaise was creamy and not eggy in the slightest. The cheese scones and pork pie were delightful too (Stacey told their secret to making the cheese scones so light and fluffy). The onion marmalade was so moorish we ended up buying a bottle to take home. The classic afternoon tea was also delicious with everything being well presented, sweet but not too sweet and plentiful (we took a doggy bag home). The presentation of our afternoon teas was lovely and we loved the china as it dates back from the early 1900s and some from the mid-late 1800s. I have to say that this is the best afternoon tea I’ve had in the U.K. and after travelling and living abroad. It is definitely worth booking going, you won’t regret it and I can’t wait to go back!"
