This was a peak experience for us. When we arrived for dinner, sparkling white wine was served to us at a table spread with divine olives, bread, herbed butter, and olive oil. We were treated to a second glass while we enjoyed our appetizers of mushrooms and sardines. My husband had the wild boar and I had a risottoat entrees. Repeat visit to this normally wonderful restaurant. This time the service, friendliness and drinks were splendid as usual but were let down by the poor food from the daily menu choice.The simple vegetable soup had a strange smell.
