So much fun first time at this type of sushi restaurant!!! Went on a Sunday night and made reservations. The appeal of a place like this is the environment and it definitely lived up but as far as taste or quality of fish 4 stars. Wasn't a fan of the calamari only thing I wouldn't reorder. What xgcatx doesn't like about Mikami Revolving Sushi, Convoy San Diego:
Food selection was horrible. We went in for the AYCE for $30 but the selection was the same 3-4 items and everything we could order on the menu was extra charge. 0 Vegetarian options even though they said they would make them add those on yet the never came. We couldn't even order them via the tablet. View all feedback.

"This was our first time here, from the Midwest. We loved it. We had the chicken and pork dumplings which you take a small bite into, drink the soup/broth and then eat the dumpling, was light and a delicious bite. The fried rice both the chicken and the pork (pork is like a pork chop placed on top see photo) was really good! We have the infused cucumbers as well not pictured and the garlic green beans which were amazing. The pear martini pictured definitely was strong but a good balance, definitely a little punch in your mouth.The overall experience was great. Family style experience and the staff were super friendly.Make reservations for this place ahead of time. Family friendly and fast service.For roughly 6 adults we easily spent 400 between drinks and food!"

"I ordered Mendos Original Pork Belly Banh Mi sandwich with lemonade. I like how the veg was cooked, and the jalapeño added a pleasant spiciness. However, the pork belly was surprisingly tough. The crunchy bread was a plus, although it was slightly dry. The green lemonade was plain, and the rose was a bit too sweet for my taste. In general, it's an okay sandwich, but I wish I could have enjoyed it more."
